Call for Proposals: Thematic Sessions at the First Joint Meeting Brazil-Mexico in Mathematics 2025
The organizing committee of the First Joint Meeting Brazil-Mexico in Mathematics 2025 is now inviting proposals for thematic sessions. The deadline for submission is October 17, 2024.
Our aim is to ensure strong mathematical representation from both Brazil and Mexico among the organizers and speakers for 20-25 thematic sessions.
Structure of a Thematic Session: Each session will consist of up to nine 30-minute talks focused on a specific area of pure or applied mathematics. Ideally, each session should be led by at least two organizers, with representation from both countries.
Proposal Requirements: To submit a proposal for a thematic session, please
complete the form https://sbm.org.br/jointmeeting-mexico/wp-content/uploads/sites/34/2024/09/Brasil-Mexico_thematic_session.zip and send it in both .tex and .pdf formats to the following email address:
encontrobrasilmexico@gmail.com.
Proposals will be evaluated based on their scientific quality and thematic balance.
