Nesta palestra, propomos uma articula\u00e7\u00e3o te\u00f3rica e pr\u00e1tica entre o Marketing Cient\u00edfico e os estudos cr\u00edticos da Sociologia da Matem\u00e1tica, para repensar os modos de comunicar e democratizar o conhecimento matem\u00e1tico.<\/p><p>Partindo da teoria do marketing \u2014 especialmente nas abordagens de Kotler e Zaltman e do marketing social \u2014 apresentamos como \u00e9 poss\u00edvel aplicar estrat\u00e9gias de segmenta\u00e7\u00e3o, constru\u00e7\u00e3o de valor, engajamento e branding para transformar a imagem da matem\u00e1tica junto ao p\u00fablico. Essa abordagem ganha for\u00e7a ao dialogar com autores como Ulrich Beck, que denuncia os riscos da sociedade baseada em conhecimentos t\u00e9cnicos excludentes; Michel Foucault, ao evidenciar os dispositivos de poder e normaliza\u00e7\u00e3o que se escondem por tr\u00e1s dos discursos cient\u00edficos; Herbert Marcuse, ao criticar a raz\u00e3o instrumental e sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o de controle social; e Ole Skovsmose, que prop\u00f5e uma matem\u00e1tica cr\u00edtica e politicamente situada.<br \/>Essas perspectivas convergem ao revelar que o mito de que &#8220;matem\u00e1tica \u00e9 para poucos&#8221; \u00e9 sustentado por estruturas simb\u00f3licas, educacionais e comunicacionais que podem \u2014 e devem \u2014 ser enfrentadas com teoria, pr\u00e1tica e criatividade. A su vez considerar\u00e9 algunas experiencias internacionales documentadas a trav\u00e9s de investigaciones en Educaci\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica. Mi foco estar\u00e1 puesto en el di\u00e1logo posible entre la ense\u00f1anza de la matem\u00e1tica y la comprensi\u00f3n de los problemas did\u00e1cticos que asume un docente de matem\u00e1tica en su proyecto de ense\u00f1anza. A partir de este an\u00e1lisis har\u00e9 menci\u00f3n a algunas de las formas que asume la formaci\u00f3n continua, sus desaf\u00edos y sus metas. O primeiro livro, \u201cA Vida Misteriosa dos Matem\u00e1ticos\u201d, publicado em dezembro de 2018, desenvolve uma narrativa da Hist\u00f3ria da Matem\u00e1tica na tradi\u00e7\u00e3o do realismo m\u00e1gico da literatura latino-americana, a partir de um lugar chamado Aleph. O segundo livro, \u201cA arte de driblar destinos\u201d, venceu, em 2022, o pr\u00eamio Leya em Lisboa, sendo publicado em Portugal no ano de 2023 e no Brasil no ano de 2024. Esse \u00faltimo livro, um romance de forma\u00e7\u00e3o, tem como protagonista um menino\/adolescente entre 5 e 19 anos, vivendo em uma cidade do interior do Paran\u00e1, antiga regi\u00e3o de sert\u00e3o, lutando com as dificuldades econ\u00f4micas da fam\u00edlia, com a falta de oportunidades educacionais e com as prec\u00e1rias condi\u00e7\u00f5es de atendimento \u00e0 sa\u00fade.
